For those who never had the privilege of witnessing one of the great theatrical events of the 20th century, HBO Films kindly fills them in after the fact.
Although it opens with perhaps the most sensual depiction of gay male attraction ever presented in a mainstream film, Part 2 fails to soar.

HBO's two-part, six hour epic adaptation of Tony Kushner's "Angels In America" is a tour-de-force of masterful storytelling, with a stellar cast and vital theming.
