The fate of humanity seems to lie in the hands of one reckless and arrogant teenager named Apollo, a possible reincarnation of a fallen angel who, millennia ago, waged war against his own mystical race in order to protect mankind. Humanity better hope he is the rebirth of the angel, because humanity really needs his help. The "Shadow Angels" returned just over a decade ago after lying dormant for 12,000 years and have been draining the human inhabitants of earth of their "prana," or life-force, one person at a time. A resourceful team of young people have trained to use three ancient ships that can be combined together to form a powerful weapon known as Aquarion. Still, in order to defeat the Shadow Angels, this team will have to utilize the legacy of Apollo. Taking place after the first batch of episodes of this dramatic and darkly comic anime series, this release follows the fruition of their alliance. [More]
