I hope QT knows that you can't win an Oscar/Globe with a movie about a black man killing white folks.

QT don't care... I assure you. He cares about making great movies for the sake of making great movies. And he has done it again with Django (from the look of things).

I would have nominated 21 jump street or Ted for best comedy. Also how the hell did Javier Bardem not get nominated for best supporting actor for Skyfall. The same goes for Tom Hardy and Guy Pearce in Lawless even though it was a little disappointing, both of them gave some best performances of the year

So Jennifer Lawrence has her category won pretty easily. That's kind of fun.

I guess "The Golden Globes" gotten a pre-screening of "Django Unchained" and "Zero Dark Thirty"!

Very predictable list of noms. Sad to see The Master or PTA not get the nod but it's not all that surprising.

I completely forgot Salmon Fishing in the Yemen even existed. I figured Magic Mike or Ted had better shots. And The Paperboy? Seriously? They're seriously giving Nicole Kidman's performance a chance? If all it takes to get awards attention is to pee on somebody then The Heartbreak Kid remake should've swept every category because even that was better than The Paperboy.

I think she is a hack of an actress. I don't find her attractive or talented at all.

I like Boardwalk, but what do people see in it over Game of Thrones? And how does Smash get nominated? After the pilot, the show was a mess.

Not bad, I guess. I hope the Oscars show a few similar nominations.

I rarely say this about the Golden Globes, but good job! A very strong field here. I hope Moonrise Kingdom wins best picture for Musical/Comedy. AND I AM SO PUMPED FOR DJANGO UNCHAINED!!!

Stunned. Paranorman was easily my favorite animated film of the year. Funny, scary, entertaining, moving. The animation was terrific too. Here is to hoping the Academy isn't so blind as the Golden Globes.

Golden Globes are giving Beasts of the Southern Wild no love here, and it's appalling.

Zeitlin couldn't afford the petition fees. Or the seat tickets. (Bought and paid for, I'm bluntly saying)

Hated that movie, but because of its overall critical acclaim I am inclined to agree with you. It probably should have been included. It is nice to see the smaller films get some attention.

Snubbed Bardem... screw the Globes.

SALMON FISHING IN THE YEMEN does not deserve any of it's 3 nominations! Emily Blunt was much better in YOUR SISTER'S SISTER and THE FIVE-YEAR ENGAGEMENT. I guess we'll just chalk-up all the snubs across the board to the Globes' broadcast celeb party having no love for indie film.

SHERLOCK deserves to be recognized for much more than Benedict Cumberbatch's greatness!
