Lack of nominations for The Master is disturbing, but not surprising!

This would be a tough year of films to compete against in some ways. Argo and Lincoln alone kind of stole the show. Silver Linings Playbook was also amazing.

That is like, the worst comment ever.

So I guess Peter Travers, Peter Howell, Richard Roeper, Todd McCarthy, Glen Kenny, and A.O Scott have some of the worst tastes ever? I thought was a great movie and your opinion isn't correct so don't try and spread it all over the place.

I think Aaron speaks for the General public on movies like the Master, not that the General public is right or anything. It's a great character study, if you don't care about character though (again, General Public) than this movie would be torturous.

Bro, it got 85% That's all I got to say.

If you end sentences with the word "ever", you have one of the most precarious grips on reality IN EXISTENCE!

Perhaps even the most precarious grip on reality ever.

"The Master" still has a chance to get more nominations at the Oscars!

If it doesn't get the BP nod, it should still get attention for its fantastic performances by Phoenix and Hoffman.

Its not as disturbing as last year when Drive and the last Harry Potter movie didn't get nominated for best picture at the golden globes and the academy awards AND the fact that Rooney Mara lost to the most overrated actress in the world Meryl fuckin Streep. And where are the nominations for Javier Bardem or Michael Fassbender?
Dec 15 - 10:12 AM
Gage Kent
Yeah, Drive should have been nominated for best picture. And I wanted Rooney Mara to win also. I think she deserved it the most. Meryl Streep isn't a bad actress, but she is certainly overrated.
