Reviews for The Astronaut's Wife
Take this as hard evidence that movies without advanced showings will not always be totally worthless.
Chilly, muted and refreshingly free of cheap shocks, this stylish psychological horror tale is greatly enhanced by subtle performances by leads Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron.
Makes the most of the shopworn material, delivering quiet chills and a genuinely eerie atmosphere.
It's scary. It's well-acted. It's filmed with a degree of flash and elegance.
This flick should have been put on a garbage payload and jettisoned into orbit before it reached theaters.
If only more capable filmmakers would have claimed this production we may have had a real winner
