From its mystical-mythical opening to the stunning finale, this is storytelling at its most primal and filmmaking at its most original.

Compelling as it is exotic, Fast Runner has a plot that rivals Shakespeare for intrigue, treachery and murder.

A trailblazer for its culture and certainly makes for a fascinating, if rather long, watch.

Audience Reviews for Atanarjuat

Unlike Margaret Atwood, I wouldn't call it the greatest Canadian film ever made but it is so unique in terms of its depictions of not only the lives of the Innuit..but a study of their ancient cultural belief system. A truly remarkable film.

This is a really good movie. The setting is wasy back in the day. It's all in the Inuit language. See it. I highly recommend it.
