Trailer Bulletin: The Duchess
Keira Knightley goes back to not-so-merrie olde England.
Like Keira Knightley? Like corsets? Boy, have we got a trailer for you!
Moviefone has an exclusive look at The Duchess, Saul Dibb's adaptation of Amanda Foreman's novel Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, starring Knightley, Ralph Fiennes, Hayley Atwell, and Dominic Cooper. Due for release next fall, the film appears to touch on all the story elements we've come to expect from period British pieces -- there's a beautiful young member of the royal family, an arranged marriage, and some illicit nookie on the grounds. To see it all for yourself (with swirling orchestral score, natch), click on the link below!

Gimy writes: on Dec 27 2007 10:29 AM Knightly and corsets are about as useless a pairing as fat free food and rosie odonnell's refrigerator. there's no reason to put the two together, she has nothing to lift. she's cute but, borrow some silicone from Pam Anderson, she has PLENTY to spare... uglygnome writes: on Dec 27 2007 11:57 AM Let's talk seriously for a moment: Keira Knightly is one of the most irritating actresses working today (second only to Scarlett Johansen) and silicone won't help (Reply to this) |

zsuzsanna writes: on Aug 19 2009 03:33 PM I liked TD not for for KK (although I think she played much better than the average critics judged her) but for RF who was fantastic. He was in this role, in my opinion, much better and more multilayered than poor Heath Ledger as Joker who won the Oscar, GG and everything without those deep acting tools what RF possesses. He was much better and greater as the gay cowboy and didn't get anything for it because he was alive. I'm optimistic and believe that this wonderful actor (RF) will gain the Oscar what he deserves for a long time without a personal tragedy. (Reply to this) |
