A bad-luck project that saw director Mark Robson and co-star Robert Shaw die during production in 1978. The final result is a choppy all-star thriller that's obviously a truncated 88-minute salvage job.
It's an overblown and poorly produced "epic". It does have a strong cast, although there is some blatantly bad miscasting. Uninvolving, which is a shame, because the basic story could have made an interesting movie.
December 9, 2009With a strong cast, a decent spy story and some neat action this turns out to be average but at the same time forgettable 70s movie.
