Fast & Furious 6
The Hangover Part III
S. James Wegg
first is DARK ANGEL with JESSICA ALBA executively produced by James Cameron . . . now there is BATTLE ANGEL pondered by James Cameron.
in MY SEARCH FOR THE GHOST OF FLIGHT 401, Elizabeth Fuller details events concerning her experience with the ANGELIC CONSORTIUM where Angels are actually situated above us all as we speak; angels are even above me as I'm typing this comment.
MAYBE . . . James Cameron can get in touch with Elizabeth Fuller and do a good movie about the Angel Consortium existing in a spiritual plain above every living being.
and someone needs to remake HIGH PLAINS DRIFTER to rip-off Ron Howard's THE DARK TOWER where Clint Eastwood comes back as an avenging ANGEL lawman to wreak-havock upon townspeople who brutally whipped him to death in the tiwn square.

why doesn't he just admit he chose Avatar 2 over Battle Angel because of the money

Yeah JimCam, just take your sweet time with Gunnm. More than likely you'll get it made WELL after Kubrick makes Napoleon and Kurosawa makes The Airtight Garage. I'll just hold my breath in 3... 2.... 1...

Meh....I'm not sure how this is news. He's already said that he'll do Battle Angel after he does the Avatar sequels, meaning it'll probably be 2020 before we see a Battle Angel movie.
On a side note, regarding James Cameron's worries about Battle Angel getting lost in the fray, I realize that there are risks with a Battle Angel adaptation, as the source material is nowhere near popular enough to support the massive budget like that, but come on Jim, when was the last time you didn't direct something that wasn't a massive success? You'd have to go all the way back to the Abyss to find something close to a flop. Everything he's done since then has been big hit after big hit.
