Based on the novel by Kenneth M. Dodson, Away All Boats stars Jeff Chandler as a tough Navy captain who takes charge of a group of raw, undisciplined sailors during World War 2. The most under-rated, under-seen movie ever. A great study in human interaction in the Command / Subordinate relationship and a GREAT War movie, not to mention an EXCELLENT cast from top to bottom.

this is such a good movie about what life as a captain must be like. his only friend was a monkey. he had to hepl them get ready for war but a lot of people didnt like him. what a good movie.
