Despite the nice animation and good voice acting, this animation series has one of the most pretentious and worthless plot structures I have met in anime. It goes back and forth in time and shows different perspectives - a techinque that is not exactly a novelty, but when well done, it really makes things interesting. Well, here it is not well done; the jumps are so fractured, so quick at times and so without significance that the whole purpose of the structure is defeated. The whole style is empty. The characters are usual cliche anime characters only dressed up as a 'mature' version by being more bloodthirsty. Shock tactics and ultra-violence adds nothing except stylistic diversions and add 'coolness' and 'bad-assery' to the characters. The characters and the differrent interwining plots come without any previews introduction and, as a result, the viewer doesn't know what's really happening and what plot he/she is watching. Only in the latest episodes one gets the picture a bit, but by then one has discovered the emptiness of this anime.

This is possibly the most amazingly complex anime i have ever watched it takes u on such a thrill ride it's extremly comedic has action mystery suspense romance and alot of other great things all roled into one 15 episode season it is my advice that anyone who loves anime watch this u wont regret it BTW { i enjoyed the english dubbed more than the subbed}
