Fox) and Doc Brown (Christopher Lloyd) to the wild, wild West. After Doc Brown accidentally sends himself too far into the past, he advises Marty not to follow (through a strategically placed letter). Upon learning that Brown may be in trouble, however, Marty takes the DeLorean and heads for 1885. Just as Marty convinces Doc to return to the present, a new complication arrives in the form of a lovely schoolteacher, Clara (Mary Steenburgen). With Doc head-over-heels and refusing to leave, Marty must do some fancy gun-slinging to keep them both alive. [More]

A triumphant combination of comedy, science fiction, romance and the Western.

Except for Mr. Lloyd, the film is so sweet-natured and bland that it is almost instantly forgettable.

Makes a few bows in the direction of time-travel complexities, and then settles down to be a routine Western comedy.

Not as tremendous as the first movie but it is thrilling, funny and very exciting.

Ties up all the loose ends but runs out of energy and inspiration.

It ain't only the DeLorean that's out of gas.

The bad news may be that it's all quite predictable, but the good news is that it doesn't matter.

Divinely frivolous, nearly perfect fun.

A clever and enjoyable wrapping-up of the time-travelling adventures.

Overall this is a good time, but the steampunk adventure doesn't thrill us quite as much as the original.

It manages to recapture the sense of fun that made the first Back to the Future so memorable and enjoyable.

This is a good deal more likable than part two because the product plugs have been held back, and Zemeckis is clearly having fun alluding to his favorite westerns; there's also a certain sweetness and charm in the Lloyd-Steenburgen romance.

The new film not only spoofs westerns, but spoofs itself to the point the viewer is constantly reminded this is only a movie.

The simplicity of plot, and the wide expansiveness of its use of space, are a refreshing change from the convoluted, visually cramped and cluttered second part.

'De Volta Para o Futuro 3' fecha com chave de ouro esta fantástica trilogia (na verdade, um grande filme de 6 horas de duração).

Fttingly the one installment in the trilogy that most resembles an old-fashioned movie, from its lovingly evoked western setting to its charmingly sentimental mood.
