An early entry in the DC animated franchise. Batman is trying to hunt down a Batwoman that is attacking bad guys.
The animation is exactly like the Batman animated series and the story itself could have been a story idea they wanted to use in the cartoon but didn't.

Suffering of a very bad animation and an atrocious script, "Mystery of the batwoman is maybe one the worst animated movie based on DC comic characters.

Relatively a good enough story for it to be a feature film, but only just about. The mystery is somewhat predictable but only after a short while. The voice acting is good and the designs are stylistic and fitting. It's another good Batman animated flick.

It was ok. Not bad at all. Animation was fine, and the story was competent, but it didn't blow me away or anything.

Massive disappointment when measured against the series and Mask of the Phantasm, but works fine as an extended bonus episode in its own way. Wish they had Paul Williams as the Penguin though, he was much better.

While it was well animated and voiced, the film boasts a rather simple story for Batman's standards, and as such, Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman lacks the edge it's 'prequels' - Batman: Mask of the Phantasm (1993) and Batman & Mr. Freeze: SubZero (1998) - had and serves no bigger purpose in the grand scheme of the DCAU.

The story of Batman: Mystery of the Batwoman I found to be kind of boring. I ended up spending most of the movie on my computer while the movie was playing in the background. Altough I wasn't that surprised, as Mystery of the Batwoman is generally one of the less popular animated Batman movies.

Another fun Batman animated film although it's one of the least best it's still good. They actually were pretty smart about the creation of Batwoman with a minor surprise ending.

Re-treads the same paths as Mask of the Phantasm, although it has learnt from its predecessor's mistakes in the detective element of the story, the atmosphere and tension are missing this time.

A really great stand alone film!

Este cambio de aires en las películas de animación de Batman resulta ser flojo pero a la vez interesante. Se deja ver.

Plays like an extended length episode of the fantastic animated series with the mature writing, action and intrigue and a terrific soundtrack. The voice acting is also top notch, as is the wonderful animation.

Batman left the darkness and went to an averaqe animated movie. The story has a very unconvincing resolution and it simply doesn't catch anyone's attention. Dissapointing? Yes.

It's a bit more aimed at kids this one with a plethora of Batman characters making an appearance, a more simplified storyline and some cheesey moments. It's still a fun watch though.

can't believe i'd say this but painfully slow. all the female characters were written so out of place especially, a hinted romance between two characters. even though it features the bat family it does not have that unique movie feel.

Alan Burnett said that this was not meant to be groundbreaking, just a fun Batman adventure. That's exactly how it comes across, with a great story and the usual DCAU high quality of voice acting and animation.

I should have known better. Paul Dini and Bruce Timm were in no way tied to this project. The animation was cheesy and so was the dialogue and music. Avoid even if you like Batman/Batwoman as much as I do.

Excellent plot.
Animation took a hit from the quality that the TAS known for.
At least it wasn't stupid CGI
