Critic Review - New Yorker

If the talk had been surgically removed, leaving only the sights and sounds of combat, this could have been a striking, semiabstract display of aggressive energy; as it is, any viewer over twelve will go for the laughs.

How are you a top critic? More like a top joke. You liked "Drive" LMAO. Horrible joke of a movie. I'm glad I didn't pay to see it. Enough said. ITS A WAR FLICK! This movie shows what it is like to be in true combat. It is very intense & gripping from start to finish. Which by reading through many of your other reviews & looking at your picture I can tell you would piss your pants if you ever had a realistic war dream. The acting is superb from start to finish & has incredible drama. "The best defense is offered by a small team of U.S. Marines". Uhhh DUH!!! That is how almost all battles are fought today. By many, small groups of marines. This movie just follows the one that leads to victory. Which is the case in most wars. Where one team does something extraordinary. I.e. the team that took out Osama. "meets and defeats the invaders at every turn, closing in on their underground command center and pausing only briefly to deliver what some historians have already hailed as the dumbest dialogue of the year." Lmao at this comment as well. They got their asses kicked as badly as the rest of the marines. How many of them died? & the dialogue? Again I can tell you've never been in a life or death situation. These words are repeated over & over again around the world in combat situations. It is human nature to be fearful, to inspire the fearful, want vengeance for a dead brother, to feel guilt for fallen soldiers/civilians under your command, or any other "dumbest dialogue of the year" that was said in Battle: LA. Every sentence spoken in that movie was moving & justified. Lmao at a huge chunk of critics that hate on war movies. Go join the marines. Then you can write a legit review about them. I bet you will have a whole different perspective. If you even make it past boot camp.
