I completely agree. It was overdone on symbolism, had bad and very confusing camera work at the beginning and was a long, long bore. I couldn't wait to get out of the theater to take a shower. Predictable to the end. I like complication, but this was too cute by half.

The film is meant to be a poem, not prose. Therefore, all of these elements aren't meant to be explored thoroughly, but are rather meant to serve as details in the life of a young, imaginative child.
