When her husband absconds with his mistress, Lynn Kerr (Zuniga) decides to make the drastic move from New Mexico to the Big Apple, in hopes of pursuing a career in fashion. Her two daughters accompany her: the gorgeous Karen (Torrey DeVitto) undertakes a modelling career, while brainy Sophie (Sarah Foret) attends a prestigious academy.
