That's what Koyuki--the 14-year-old protagonist of this slice-of-life anime series--does, and it affords him the opportunity to meet the dog's up-and-coming rock musician owner. He in turn inspires Koyuki to learn to play the guitar and eventually start a punk-rapcore band with his best friends.
