Critic Review - Miami Herald

The movie looks like it was lit by lava lamps, scored on Moog synthesizers, written between bong hits and acted underwater. None of this is meant as praise.

It actually describes the film perfectly. 2001 Space Odyssey had a story. People could understand the story. It had dialogue. This was two hours of any 1980s minimalist attempts at art with almost no dialogue. I admire the desire to do something different but just doing something different doesn't make it good.
