In RETURN OF THE CHINESE BOXER (1974), a sequel to the Shaw Brothers epic, a Chinese warrior (Jimmy Wang Yu) discovers a Japanese plot to invade his homeland and engages the ninja interlopers in a battle to the death. In BLOODY FIGHT (1980), a kung fu student (Alan Tang) avenges his master's murder at the hands of a wandering Japanese boxer.
