Loonette is the owner of the couch, and with her favorite doll Molly as a companion, she sets out on a variety of weird and wonderful adventures with it. A little searching beneath the cushions pulls up umbrellas, hats, and many other objects, all of which form the basis for an episode in the series. They're often joined on their adventures by characters such as Auntie Macassar, General Bedhead, and two dustbunnies named Fuzzy and Wuzzy who--unbeknown to Loonette--dwell beneath the couch.
