What's insulting is that you get to be a movie critic! I thought movie "experts" knew how to appreciate things like GREAT CASTING, EXCELLENT DIALOGUE, and BRILLIANT DIRECTING!?! This is one of the/if not THE most quotable movie of all time!

Kenny calls this the Coens worst film. At almost 80% fresh, I'd say that ain't bad. This movie is not a Big Sleep knock off. It pays homage to it. That's the connection. It's obvious. So, why make the comparison between the two films? If Kenny had a problem with the homage, he should have left it at that. And after reading the entire review, he doesn't really explain why it feels like such an insult. Kenny gets paid to explain his point of view. It looks like, at least this time around, he got paid for nothing.

Sigh... okay, I know it's just an opinion, but really? Lighten up, Fox. It's wacky, weird, quirky, and even though it's not the best political-ish black comedy, Jeff Bridges is heftier than usual, thus even more fun. This is a dim-witted comedy --- but in a sort of a good way.
