'Sup Vince. Ever smoked weed? Maybe even...one time? Maybe when you donned your fraternity vest to the University formal, and the firecracker red-head named something like Sally invited you out back for a piff or two? Or was your spine too straight to draw outside the lines for once, just once? Have you ever wondered what it tastes like? Take the dick out of your mouth and find out.

Of course you think you think this movie is inept, you're like 90! If I was born in the 19th century I'd probably be a top critic also!

Not only is Bill and Ted's NOT "a painfully inept comedy", it's not even a dumb movie; it's a smart movie in dumb clothing. The police station scene is actually the best use of time logic bootstrapping EVER portrayed in cinema. When I write academic papers on temporal logic, I often reference this scene in B&T's, because it is so nicely done. And, really, anyone who doesn't enjoy a film that features "Socrates...Johnson", and Napoleon demanding the last of the ice cream with the assertive use of a spoon block must have an atrophied heart.
