Like a twisted version of I LOVE LUCY, the film centers on a successful comedian, Doo-chan (Kwang-il Choi), who is married to a phenomenally talentless aspiring actress, Eun-hui (Eun-ji Jo). When Eun-hui runs into her childhood friend, Keum-sook (Hyo-jin Kong), who is now a tae kwon do instructor, the women rekindle their schoolgirl friendship only to have it blossom into a torrid lesbian love affair. To complicate matters, the love triangle unfolds in nonsequential flashbacks told through the strange framing device of an old man recounting the story in outer space, making for a truly wacky postmodern pop confection.
