Movie Info

Black Like Me is the true story of white journalist John Howard Griffin, who "became" a Negro in the late 1950s. Audience Reviews for Black Like Me

I never really knew what kind of man James Whitmore was until I seen how he acted in this picture. Especially at the end when black people expressed that he could take the color off and they couldn't. I was so very moved when he walked off with head down feeling sorry for how black were treated. After I saw that picture I will always have great respect and admiration for James Whitmore.

Well, didn't think this was such a great movie. I did laugh at some points but nothing too impresive. The actors were OK. It's just about a father with 3 kids in Beverly Hills who are really poor. I know it sounds strange doesn't it "a father with 3 kids in Beverly Hills who are really poor", oh boy. I don't really find a story plot in the movie though. It's alright to watch but like I said before "nothing too great".
