Movie Info
Bert Lytell makes a dapper Boston Blackie in this silent feature. Blackie's Redemption is based on two Blackie stories by Jack Boyle -- Boston Blackie's Mary and Fred the Count. Boston Blackie is about to be married to Mary Dawson (that fine comedienne Alice Lake in one of her more dramatic roles), and he is determined to go straight. But he is double-crossed by Fred the Count (Henry Kolker) and winds up going to prison for a crime the Count committed. Blackie escapes and outwits the warden
