Critic Review - Bangor Daily News (Maine)

Comes off like a flamboyant cartoon, another film about the deglamorization of glamorous people living it up in the glamorous world of drugs.

This review felt like you had more of a problem with the subject than the actual film and carried that cynicism which tainted every facet of the movie for you (including the wonderful performances). This is a great movie, don't try to fit it to agendas or pre-conceived storylines, just watch it for what it is, then decide how you feel about the film, regardless of the person behind it.

good call, it really is just an endless amount of annoying cliche scenes

"OMG MOM U CALLED THE COPS??"
the audience: OMG HOW COULD SHE DO THAT HE IS SUCH A NICE GUY!

"OMG HIS WIFE IS ACTING LIKE HIS MOM"
audience: OMG!!! HES SO NICE THO! WHYS SHE BEING SO MEAN??

and the advice the dad gives is so stupid i just cant stand it. oh, and the little girl that acts like shes 25
"U DONT HAVE A HEART!" *slams phone*

its a philosophical movie for retards... not if youre of average or above intelligence
