All of the characters were extremely one dimensional-totally self-centered and selfish. Jasmine's substance abuse was very depressing.

Rehash of "Streetcar" plus Bernie Madoff thrown in? That sounds pretty good actually. A lot better than most of what Hollywood shoots for.
