Movie Info

The romantic comedy Bob the Butler stars Tom Green as the title character. Unable to maintain any gainful employment, Bob decides to go through the phone book in order to get a job. This leads to him enrolling in a course that teaches the students how to be a house servant. In this capacity, single mother Anne (Brooke Shields) hires him. He quickly establishes a strong relationship with her children, which in turn leads to a change in the relationship between Bob and Anne. ~ Perry Seibert, Rovi

That assertion that it's made for kids and therefore due for a "break" makes no freaking sense to me. Children deserve better than this garbage.

Audience Reviews for Bob the Butler

Ive seen Tom Green make out with several unattractive people, and now Brooke Shields. not a pretty scene. but it was hotter than the movie. all in all, as far as the male babysitting comedy genre goes, this ranks slightly above "the Pacifier" but not quite as high as "the spy next door" or "big momma's house 2". its more on the level of "Dickie Roberts: former child star".

I started watching as a joke to punish my boyfriend for vetoing the movie I wanted to watch. But we both ended up loving it. Maybe our expectations where so low it made the movie better, I don't know. But it was funny, aw-worthy and cute. Tom Green went legitimate when no one was looking.

Another feel-good, plot-of-little-substance sort of movie
