Urban recording engineer Lee Sang-wu travels to the small town of Kangneung to do a job for local radio host Han Eun-su. As the two work together on a segment for Eun-su's show, a hesitant romance is born. Their time together is short and after Sang-wu returns to the city, they miss each other. Months pass and, unable to restrain her feelings any longer, Eun-su leaves Kangneung to see Sang-wu.

Sadness is seldom more unrelenting than on ONE FINE SPRING DAY, a film with no plot and very little dialog. I was riveted by the intelligence and realism depicted on screen, knowing that the film plays differently depending on the viewers own experience. Masterfully done!
