Movie villain Fred F. Sears handled the directorial reins for the Columbia western Bonanza Town. Charles Starrett shows up in his usual guise as the masked do-gooder The Durango Kid. This time Durango (aka Steve Ramsey) comes up against corrupt judge Luther Crockett. Director Sears doubles as Crockett's chief henchman, while Smiley Burnette essays the challenging role of "Smiley Burnette."
