Comedian "Cheech" Marin plays a Hispanic repairman who is mistakenly caught in a round-up of illegal aliens and shipped overseas to Mexico. Having no identification and no money, the repairman embarks on an attempt to return to his East Los Angeles home, facing frustration at every turn.
