such a pity that robert ludlum is no longer around to continue the series.

Very true, but I'm still eager to see what kind of story they can come up with given that this will be original, and not a story from Robert Ludlum. It'll be interesting to see. I get this tiny feeling like this project is being forced and that's not a good sign, but I have hope.

anxious to see the next one. love the series. only thing thats bad is they keep hiring a heroine addict to do the camera work. seriously, keep the d3mn thing still dude...and focus on the action, not the actor's shoulder...or center at his armpit. focus! focus...FOOCUS!!

Uhh did you guys read the books? Those movies were already a complete departure from the books - save for the "Jason Bourne can't remember his past" aspect. But they had to be, because people these days have no idea who the Jackal is/was. The stories were very much a creation of the 80s and had to be updated, we book snobs get that. But don't act like this is the *First* Bourne Movie to deviate from it's source material. It cut ties after the first 20 minutes of the first film and hasn't looked back since. And you know what? That's okay, they still delivered. My only doubt comes with Nolfi. This could go any way.

Each of the Bourne sequels builds up on the fact that Jason Bourne gets pulled back into the whole business with Treadstone, and that gets him madder. The Bourne Ultimatum tied things nicely in that he found out who got him into Treadstone in the first place, and he was able to put away all those bad guys that were involved. Now they want to make another sequel that gets him involved with more bad people? How the hell are they going to make it not feel like a cash-in?! It's ridiculous! Give it a rest, Universal. You'd be better off making another Jurassic Park than another Bourne movie.

I wouldn't mind another Jurassic Park movie. I can imagine Jurassic Park Dinos in the city

They should just quit at 3. As someone said earlier, they wrapped it up nicely.
TragicVillan, I read the first book and thought it would make an excellent movie. I didn't think it was outdated.
