- Lasse Hallstrom will direct a remake of the 2005 French thriller Anthony Zimmer for Spyglass Films.
- Eddie Izzard has joined the cast of the Weinsteins animated film Igor, replacing Jeremy Piven in the role of Schadenfreude.
- Vince Vaughn and Reese Witherspoon are in talks to star in the comedy Four Christmases, on which they are already serving as producers.
- Susan Sarandon has joined the cast of Peter Jackson's The Lovely Bones, with Stanley Tucci in talks to join.
- Finally, RT would like to remember Hungarian cinematographer Laszlo Kovacs and German actor Ulrich Muhe, both of whom recently passed away.
