Broken Lizard Boys to Hit an All-New "Road"
Comedy troupe Broken Lizard (a.k.a the guys behind "Club Dread" and "Super Troopers") have announced their next movie, and it's Edward Douglas and ComingSoon.net that have the scoop on "The Greek Road."
("Dukes of Hazzard" director and longtime Lizard Jay) Chandrasekhar says "Dukes" co-star and Broken Lizard member Kevin Heffernan "is playing Plato, who is a fresman wrestler at Athens University going to wrestle for them in the Olympics. But he is failling in his class in Higher Thought, so they hire Socrates, who is a Senior, to tutor him. But he is a little thick and he cheats and passes. The two of them road trip to Mt. Olympus on chariot so he can wrestle there and Zeus, Poseidon and Hades make bets whether they'll make it or not."
Chandrasekhar added that The Greek Road will be a hard R-rated movie, will be set in ancient Greece, and they will try to make it as authentic as possible. Warner Bros. Pictures is the distributor.

Super Troopers was classic, but Club Dread was horrible. I'm rooting for them but it's hard for me to see how this movie is going to be good with a plot like that. (Reply to this) |

Madman writes: on Jul 26 2005 12:47 PM Super troopers was really funny and Club Dread wasn't that bad in my opinion. The characters were just too funny even if the movie had its problems. PLus I liked how it was actually a bit scary in parts instead of a simple gag filled horror spoof. So in other words I'm looking forward to this too. Madman (Reply to this) |

Like Season 4 of Family Guy. Like Stella. Category B: Didn't like Club Dread. Don't like Season 4 of Family Guy. Don't like Stella. Let's test that theory. (Reply to this) |
