I think it was a great movie. I also liked Green Lantern but found something lacking in Thor. But out of the three, this was the best, and I'm not a die-hard comic book fan. I think this was the best comic book adaptation since Iron Man. Just my opinion.

its not tht i didnt like it its just, why would you have the opportunity to make something so awesome, something that coulda been patriotically inspirational and appeal to people on a different scale, and also it being the introduction of the Leader of the up coming oohhh so amazing "AVENGERS MOVIE"! and then make C- movie that was drawn out and long, with a weak simple minded storyline, summing up all the action in a quick montage that might as well have been the trailer. Why waste somethings potential?

It's an origin story, sure the action will be postponed, but the movie was still the best one (with a slight advantage of Thor and Iron Man in my opinion) that came out of a comic book.
