thats what everybody keeps telling me. the truth is i do like a good superhero movie, but this film was a mess of superhero cliches, bad dialogue, and the action scenes were just straight up lame. it was the same case with pirannha 3D, its like the film was so bad that the critics had mistaken it for some sort of counter culture and ran with it.

The thing is, you don't like superhero movies. You probably only like black-and-white or foreign films or Oscar bait, who thinks that every movie that has great action sequences and doesn't take itself too seriously is unoriginal, or is "destroying American culture" or some condescending crap like that. Go watch Citizen Kane or some boring arty film and leave us people who like having fun alone.

@DictatorF Hey idiot, dont tell me what i like and dont like, and for the record you couldn't be any more wrong. i liked iron man and the latest xmen movie, and loved the first two spiderman movies. also, the first season of heroes on nbc is one of my favorite shows of all time. i've never even seen citizen kane. i dont dislike captain america because i'm some pretentious college student who likes to name drop old foreign films, i dislike captain america because its a piece of shit.

I agree. Captain America is pure shit. I literally cannot believe it got a 78. Everyone I saw the midnight premier with was predicting low 30s for this movie.
