Guess the tomatometer

This is one of my most looked forward to movies, especially after seeing the trailer (and even though I don't like Tom Hanks). I would put it somewhere in the mid to high eighties, but critics are being especially obnoxious this year, so 75-83%.

Well, since Slant and the Village Voice already rotten-ed it, I'll give it around the mid-80's since I don't have to figure in their stuff.

Sorry, I worded that a little wrong. I do like Tom Hanks, and in some movies, I thought he was great, but I just don't love him as much as the rest of the world.

stopped reading after "(even though I don't like Tom Hanks)". Is that a personal issue? Because that's the dumbest thing I've ever heard.

I'm thinking low 80's from the critics. I really hope Greengrass doesn't torture us with more shaky camera action. Stupidest directing format I have ever seen.

The reason the critics numbers have been low so far this year is because most of the films haven't been that good.

Yes, I guess you are right, many of the films have been a little dissapounting, but one of the main things they have been griping about is predictibility, and I don't think this will be the most original film, but still very good.

Predictability is inevitable it pretty much anything these days (been like that ever since), it just depends on real the characters are, and how well the story is told. In that regard, you can do very well. Although it also depends on how jaded the viewers and target audiences may be.
