Released generally as Cardinal Richelieu, this George Arliss vehicle was based on the popular 19th-century blank-verse play by Lord Edward Bulwer-Lytton. The results -- with Richelieu dividing his time between bringing young lovers together and saving the country -- are pretty specious as history, but they're certainly entertaining fun.
