Succeeds both as a parody of the spy genre, and in stretching the boundaries of what you believe is possible.

So much fun you may want to lick yourself.

No es una gran película ni seguramente hará historia, pero si ofrece un muy buen rato de esparcimiento familiar
A surprisingly ill-advised misfire that surely won't be garnering many devoted fans above the age of single-digits.

Cats & Dogs is adorable, and at times quite clever, but is strictly for the kitties. Er, kiddies.
| Original Score: 2.5/4
An inventive and fanciful children's movie that will more than adequately entertain the kids while amusing adults, too.
| Original Score: B+
After a while, the film's massive explosions make Swordfish look like a chick flick.
It's not derivative so much as an homage - and it is this that saves the film from being just another talking animal movie.

The script by John Requa and Glenn Ficarra has many funny moments.
Inoffensive fun that kids will love and adults will likely love too.
| Original Score: 2.5/5
Aimed at kids but doesn't dumb things down to the preschooler level.

While I didn't laugh that hard during Cats & Dogs, I did chuckle a fair amount.
"Cats & Dogs" is reasonably entertaining kids' fare, but it might have been even more worthwhile if it had a little more human heart and reason behind it.
"Cats and Dogs" is a movie that blurs the lines between cartoons and live action and between animals and humans.
This "SpyPets" is no "SpyKids."

A fun summer diversion for the family.
I started to wonder if beating a joke to within an inch of its life constitutes cruelty.
Its characters, the two and four-legged varieties, are too lazily drawn for the film to register as more than a pleasant time-killer.
The film's bark is better than its bite.
High-end family entertainment.
