Movie Info
The 'Chihuly' of the title is in fact Tacoma-born artist Dale Chihuly, a maverick sculptor glass-blower noted for his ability to continue to work effectively despite two enormous handicaps: the loss of one eye from a severe automobile accident, and the loss of movement in one shoulder from a surfing incident. In response to these setbacks, Chihuly transitioned by necessity from creating art with his own two hands, to orchestrating a team of artists who routinely work for him. This documentary
