The Baghmati River that flows through Katmandu, Nepal, is a holy site held sacred by Hindus. It is also home to a large number of homeless children who live along its shores and scavenge from the funeral ceremonies held at nearby temples. This moving documentary from director Yi Seung-jun explores the children's harrowing lives and sheds light on one of the often overlooked casualties of global poverty: childhood innocence. ~ Sandra Bencic, Rovi
