Movie Info

Not everyone likes houseguests, especially when they're uninvited (and serial killers to boot), as in this horror story. Christina Tarling (Allison Lange) is a teenage girl who lives with her unstable father James (John Savage) and her younger brother Bobby (Lorne Stewart) in the family's new home. While Christina is trying to sort out her feelings for both Eddie (Brendan Fehr), her boyfriend, and Howie (Brad Rowe), a handyman she's become infatuated with, she soon discovers she has bigger fish to fry: there is a stranger in the house who begins leaving messages and gifts for Christina -- and who isn't averse to the idea of killing people in order to make an impression.more

Has a fun concept, but is a stinker of a horror film.

Audience Reviews for Christina's House

I caught this film in its final act and it did not take too long to figure out what I would have given Christina's House. CH is a poor exercise in s post-slash films and clone to Scream and the weaker I know what You Did Last Summer. Here is a film where cast is woefully inept in acting and interest. How inept are they? There are number of scenes where characters cannot even open the door! Other characters spew lines without any real emotion to compel the slightest viewer. Not even the killer is at all interesting or creepy. C-House needs to be foreclosed.

This movie was badly acted, horribly dialoged, sadly un-witty, predictibly plotted, with a stupid storyline, and absolutely NO scare factor. Did I leave anything out? Actually, I think not. Basically everything this movie tried so hard to do (and you can tell they were REALLY trying) just falls completely on it's face, that's not to say it's worthless though. If you are like me and enjoy every once in a while watching a horrible movie just to laugh at it and wonder how the heck it got made, you would be hard pressed to find a movie worse than "Christina's House". So enjoy the horror... bly done movie.

That Guy With The Face

Critics usually slam this movie because they think that Allison Lange is a Julia Stiles wannabe. Get past that and you've got a pretty decent cast in a very good, smart, thriller.
