eldudarino writes: on May 15 2008 04:53 PM i know your going for puns, but calling a movie at 74% movie royalty is a bit of a stretch, i could understand if it were in the 90's or even high 80's but 74 come on. (Reply to this) |

kissman24 writes: on May 15 2008 07:11 PM The original "Narnia" didn't understand the concept of character development. I couldn't name a single character from that movie off hand and I've watched it twice. Everyone is completely forgettable. I can't wait to watch another PG-rated, bloodless, violence-less, 'epic battle'. I'll be one of the few folks who will spend his $10 elsewhere this weekend. (Reply to this) |

martinscorsese25 writes: on May 15 2008 07:26 PM the problem with narnia movies is that when you go out the theatre, you know you've watched a GOOD movie, but you feel nothing... it's like OK i've watched a good movie, (then you go back to reality).. but with movies like Potter and LOTR(ofcourse), it haunts you for days, you don't forget it easily... i think narnia will always be the weak one with the three... vaodsi writes: on May 16 2008 04:05 AM just saw narnia....... uhm... well fans of the book will probably not think much of it..... kids will like it..... grownups might get tired. VIOLENT but no blood again... even when the awesome mouse reepicheep (played awesomely by Eddie Izzard) slashes jugulars..... the mouse just slashed out a guy's jugular and there is NO blood...... then again... that's probably good considering the books were written for children. maybe some stories are best as books. I hope they stop after dawn treader cause if they screw up horse and his boy i will do things that i can't say because then everybody would know that I was responsible...... 'nough said. plus, peter's character, which was honorable and AWESOME in the book has been reduced to a beastly little *****. Seriously... Will Mosely is a ***** in this movie... and susan is all angelic... it's like they switched roles, or chromosomes, or something. Anyway... Peter was acting like it was his time of month and it really got annoying...... but Peter Dinklage as Trumpkin was wicked sweet. (Reply to this) |
