Critics Consensus: Narnia Looks Great, but Lacks Magic

Man, Rotten Tomatoes *sucks* sometimes. Is there *nothing* whatsoever they can do about all these spambots?

The new Narnia movie felt rushed, but it picked up really well in the middle when
Eustace Scrubb turned into a dragon.
That was FREAKIN' AWESOME!

The Tomatomether is usually a reliable source for determining what movies to see or miss. Narnia was an awesome movie. It had a sustained sense of wonder and magic. In short, it was thrilling! The story is a classic and comes from the mind of CS Lewis. The crap that Hollywood invents cannot touch it.

CS Lewis was an overrated preachy nutjob and nothing has changed. As far as Hollywood surpassing NArnia, try LOTR.

The story for Narnia sounds just so cheesy. "They must find the seven swords to save Narnia"? Ehh ...
