The Clique is about a new girl that runs in to the Pretty Committee Clique. The Clique does everything in their power to make the new girls life as bad as they could make it. She does try to make them like her but that makes her go down the social ladder. Will she stuck like this forever or would she be able to stand up for herself.
Pros
Good plot
Shows what middle school is like.
Cons.
Ok acting
Too girly for me.
Can get annoying at times.
Ok teen film
Only good for a rental
I think this film is today's version of mean girls .

This movie doesn't work for non-teenagers. It is just too childish. I guess you need to take things to an extreme to prove your point, but I hope the schools in our neighbourhood are not as shallow.

The idea of the story is getting old.

This movie is so stupid, I am embarrassed to like it. But like a magnet I am inescapably drawn to Massie and Claire and the rest of the Pretty Committee. I NEED manufactured middle school drama in my life. It's like Gossip Girl, but not dramatic or even that funny - even in a satirical way. The earnestness is what I enjoy most, actually.

Why I wasted my time with this crap of a movie I'll never know.

I suppose for a tween movie it was okay. It reminded me of the movie "Mean Girls" except in this one, the mean girls have a change of heart in the end. Themes are excessive consumerism and reckless spendthrift, shallowness, vanity, wealth, attitude, bullying and jealousy. There was a good moral message for preteen girls: be yourself, money can't buy you happiness, and true friends love you for who you are.

This is one of those movies that actually sticks to the plot-line of the story it's based on. I'm proud.

Based on the book by Lisi Harrison, this adaptation to film is pretty much on point. The actors really do the characters justice. Good movie for young adults and fans of the book series.

Glad i screened this before watching with my little diva, not really appropriatefor her age. Would be a good early teen movie, the PG only rating surprises me.

It's a good story about how getting caught up in being popular can lead to doing things we're not proud of. However, I think this movie would be best for the pre-teen crowd.

This movie is terrible. It was never going to be very deep, but the books were funny and enjoyable enough, and the movie should have lived up to them.

I am in love with this movie. Its cute and light hearted, and it fallows the books really well. The one problem is that the acting is a little shakey and cheesey lines. But its great after and intense movie!

It's really bad, specially since it's supposed to be a family movie and I think they are too big of petty bitches for that to be true. No one really learns anything in the movie so I'm wondering if the book series is the same way and also has no point to it.

The movie is not accurate to the book. The Clique is meaner and the ending is different. If you haven't read the book, it's a good movie though.

okay those little girls are brats. I did like the movie Mean Girls better. This was a cross between Mean Girls and An American Girl classic.
