This is what happens when passive aggressive a.d.d. children grow up and review movies. I think he got the wrong door at the movie theater, he wanted to go see nitro circus, but was to stupid to read numbers and wound up in the cloud atlas theater instead.
What kind of review was that? You need to back up all those adjectives with evidence, rather than telling us inconsequential (and rather interesting) details about the storyline.
I disagree strongly. It has most good than bad. In my opinion it was absolutely amazing, but if some viewers were to find it boring, I would presume only a miniscule amount!
You could not have been more wrong . I loved this movie , visually stunning, I did not want it to end . I was never bored . It was touching , caring and compassionent....HOW ANYONE COULD HAVE BEEN BORED IS BEYOND ME !!!
Wow...I totally disagree with this summary review of this film. All I can say is a critic who calls this film boring...ought to get out of the movie reviewing business NOW...he/she has obviously been doing it too long!!!
Most people have too long an attention span to be bored and exhilarated and maddened in a single film. Perhaps the reviewer out to be rating YouTube videos, those last under five minuets; he might be able to focus on those without losing his attention span.
Boring? Nothing about this movie was boring. You probably didnt understand the depth of the movie, therefore, did not see the connections between timelines. You probably didnt like it because in one scene two guys kiss. You prude.
guys, take note of the "Christian Science Monitor" bit. Obviously as soon as he saw the gay bed scene at the beginning, he only looked for what would make it bad.
Was so excited to see this movie as I believe in so many of its messages but found it disappointing and drawn out..Many times I felt like it needed subtitles as the characters were just too hard to understand and I'm sure a lot was lost in translation ( doona bae and the language spoken between Hall Barry and Tom Hanks in the future) . The casting of Doona Bae was a huge mistake in this movie, or alternatively should have employed subtitles whenever she spoke.. I dont think her linguistic skills measure up for an english speaking film...and found her completely annoying to watch which threw off the rest of the movie. The English actors were all a joy to watch especially Ed Broadbent, without his presence this movie would have been just too painfully boring to endure.....
