Another Viral Video on J.J. Abrams' Top Secret Flick

Is it wrong to want to remain in the dark?

Gotta love the clever marketing campaigns. Seems like every day we get some new info on this "Cloverfield" flick. And now comes a new piece of video.

"Cloverfield" is not the actual title, so it doesn't earn the italics yet, but I must admit that I'm enjoying the 'top secret' nature of the project. (It's totally true: I even have a friend who's working on the FX for the flick -- and he wouldn't tell me ANYthing!)

But check out our source below for some brand-new behind-the-scenes footage on the as-yet-untitled project. I'm still guessing it's a monster movie, but that seems pretty obvious at this point. Frankly I'd rather maintain the surprise for as long as possible. In today's movie world, we don't get to enjoy many surprises.

People in the audience were quite impressed with the orginal trailer. I was pretty blown away myself. It had a very commando feel to it. It looked low budget, but then there was some crazy brilliant C.G.I.

This new footage has a real frezy feeling to it. I'm trully looking foward to the possiblitiy of this project being quite good.

There%u2019s been some talk comparing this footage to that of the %u201CBlair Witch Project%u201D due to the camera usage. For those of you who heard the truth about the authenticity of the BWP before seeing it, you might remember what a let down the movie was when you already knew that it never actually happened. What is genius about the movie is that those who never knew about the staging, we%u2019re duped into believing a story that had no truth in it, and that made it fun. The next generations of uniformed children will get to see this movie for the first time, and maybe question if it actually happened. As history gets convoluted, some will maybe even argue that the events had some truth to them.
It was quite an Orson Wells way of looking at things. What he accomplished on radio is almost impossible to replicate in any other media, but the %u201CBlair Witch Project%u201D came close.
That said, I think this project could work if all done handheld. I don%u2019t know how audiences would respond at first, but in a few years you would see a longevity factor. Upcoming generations might even be duped into believing an attack on New York actually happened, due to the fact it was shot with the mass publics recording devices of the time.
Or it could just be a hokey mess that fails miserably. Kudos to all viral marketers. It%u2019s the only advertising I care about.

This film is probably based on a HG Wells story, or myth. Something to do with the Chutlu or whatever the ultimate evil of the universe is called.

I personally thought the CG looked like crap, and I hated the way the thing looked. The audience at the theater I saw it at, just laugh and called it stupid. So, I don't really expect this film to be that big. Looks like another stupid monster movie. However, this time it will make you vomit from its poor cinematography.

Wow! Someone must have **** in your cereal. You know nothing about the movie, all of what we have seen so far might not even be in the actual movie itself and yet you completely hate it. Good for you sunshine!
