Or...it could, you know, actually be good.

I have been wanting to know more about this movie for the longest time. It has build so much hype like "talan7" has said, that it could lead to the movies downfall of it doesnt meet hype expectations. The trailer was one of the best I have ever seen, hopefully the movie is good too.

MI:3 was only good compared to two, but as a movie it blew. There's no reason to think this will be any better.

I absolutely agree w itchy, the trailer was OK, that's it. The hype on this 1 will more than likely outweigh the quality of the movie itself. I love JJ, but it appears to be a 'godzilla' type movie w something(s) giant attacking a city...yawn

28 Days Later was "just zombies." Lots of monster movies are really, really simple, but are nonetheless successful. Will they rely on the docu-cam shakiness the whole time? Blair Witch Godzilla? Meh. That would be a weak stunt to pull. Could it be a movie about real people coping with a catastrophic, visually spectacular threat that just happens to be a GIANT ENEMY CRAB (fingers crossed)?

All this speculation is ridiculous. Either you liked the trailer, or you didn't.

The monster is the smoke monster from Lost, as in JJ Abrams is the king of blowing smoke up people's asses.

This has blair witch written all over it and I firmly believe that it is nothing but all hype and no substance. Sure Abrams made couple of good tv shows and he had success with MI three, but it does not mean he can produce a good movie.

Okay, the movie may turn out to be bad, but the hype is very entertaining.
