I hate to think this cuz i generally appriciate JJ Abrams stuff but this sounds an aweful lot similar to the ending of (American) Godzilla , Could this be a non-sequel sequel ? Or a sort of reboot of Godzilla ? From the trailer info it sounds intense and has some depth and style which i think will make it very worth while , but the the skeptic in me is seeing a Godzillaish movie but possibly done right and not campy ...

It does still intrigue me ...

its slusho :0 ! I bet you five bucks the monster and evrything eles comes from that frosty beverage. I hope this thing inst like lost were you have to wade thru 15 weeks of one hour episodes to see a leaf move and be told that was it, see you next season.#0!

I want to see this movie on the first day so the monsters are not spoiled by others. Weary am I though, for this may be another disappointment like "Signs". Remember how you felt when you finally saw the aliens? Oh man... what a painful memory. Maybe the monsters are never shown... I think that would be best.
