Professional "Scrub" Wants to be a "Homie"

Summary

The consistently amusing Donald Faison ("Clueless," TV's "Scrubs") has signed on for the lead role in "Homie Spumoni," says Variety. Mike Cerrone (co-writer of "Me, Myself & Irene") will direct the indie comedy, which is described like so: "The story centers on Renato, a black man raised as an Italian-American goombah and unaware that he is black. When his birth parents show up, he spurns his Italian family as well as his Jewish American Princess girlfriend and goes to his birth family's home. There, he realizes he must learn to be comfortable in his own skin." Back to Article
